The Solitaire

Ella Brown

“Newspaper has challenged me in a multitude of ways, but at the end of the day, I walk out way stronger than I used to be. As the opinion editor, it is my responsibility to ensure freedom of speech and freedom of the press is upheld in The Solitaire. I feel the weight of this commitment, however, I am ready for the challenge.”

Junior Ella Brown is beyond excited to explore her new role in 2019. She hopes to improve her own writing skills, as well as help others to use their voice as journalists. Brown aspires to be a lawyer, but she uses journalism as a creative outlet and platform for her opinionated articles.
