Claudia Rodriguez

While being both the Editor in Chief of the Solitaire and the Secretary of National Honor Society (NHS), senior Claudia Rodriguez has proved to be a leader. Along the way, she has proved to many of her teachers and peers she is one that can be counted on.

“She is the main person who gets people signed up for events, she posts the events and puts them on the calendar,” NHS sponsor Kimberly Gryseels said. “She is the busiest of all the officers by far.”

Her caring nature for others does not go unnoticed throughout her hard work. Rodriguez took on an incredibly gratifying project during her last year of NHS.

“Claudia has such a good heart,” Gryseels said. “She set up a purse and shoe collection for the school so that she could take the donations to the veterans.”

Outside of leadership positions, Rodriguez radiates positivity in and out of the classroom.

“What makes Claudia a good friend is how kind and caring she is,” senior Melanie Munie said. “She is very thoughtful and goes out of her way to make people smile. She is always there for you if you need someone to talk to or just need a friend.”

Rodriguez knows how to light up a room through her contagious smile and consistently upbeat attitude.

“A quality that [Claudia] has that makes her special is her sense of humor,” Munie said. “You know you are going to laugh and have a great time when you are with her.”
