While being in her senior year of high school, Kota is excited to help lead the Solitaire as one of the editors-in-chief. When not writing for the paper, she can be seen being the front ensemble section leader for the school’s marching band. All in all, she can’t wait to see what this year brings.

“I try to go for a more whimsical goth and on other days I just dress like a pirate,” senior Giavanna Neely said. “I find a lot of comfort in fantasy escapism so I like to incorporate that into my daily life.”
