Ezra Miller is arrested twice
Ezra Miller, the actor who stars in the newest “Fantastic Beasts” movie and the upcoming DC film, “The Flash,” has been arrested for the second time in 2022. The first arrest was made in March, when Miller was arrested for disorderly conduct in Hilo, Hawaii. According to the police report, Miller became agitated at karaoke singers in a restaurant and began yelling vulgar words. They then grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman and attacked a 32-year-old man who was playing darts, according to cnn.com.
Miller’s incident at the karaoke bar led to a fine of $500 for disorderly conduct, along with harassment charges. Furthermore, the man and woman from the bar petitioned a temporary restraining order against Miller, but it was dropped a month later, according to dailymail.co.uk and bbc.com.
A month later, Miller was arrested once again in Pahoa, Hawaii. Miller was reportedly irritated at being asked to leave a woman’s private property, so they threw a chair at her, which hit her in the forehead and resulted in a half-inch long cut that she refused treatment for, according to dailymail.co.uk.
A second restraining order was filed against Miller by a couple who had bailed them out of jail. The couple claimed that Miller had threatened and robbed them while staying at the pair’s home in Hawaii, stealing their passport and wallet. The couple has since dropped the restraining order, all according to bbc.com and variety.com.
Miller has since been released from jail, while the police continue their investigation. Movies that star Miller, such as “The Flash,” have pushed back their release date due to the controversy taking place in Hawaii, according to cnn.com.
