Many people enjoy spending time with others, and where that rendezvous happens can depend. There are many places people can choose to meet up at.
An example is hanging out at someone’s house.
“We’ll watch movies,” junior Jacob Brennaman said. “Sometimes we will go outside and just wander. At one particular house, we usually have a firepit.”
Another way people can spend time is going outside and doing various activities.
“[We go to] Boulevard Park when it’s nice out,” senior AJ Ciolek said. “We go on the ziplines or the mini seesaw they have and try to knock each other off.”
Some choose to go shopping as a form of hanging out.
“We like to go thrifting at [Missions Thrift Store] and Hut8,” Ciolek said. “It can be really hit or miss, but we’re all usually able to find something we like.”
Instead of going to one store, some choose the mall because it has multiple shops in close proximity.
“We like going to the mall,” junior Grace Walker said. “We walk around, shop at the stores, and hang out at the food court.”
Another spot people can go to is a restaurant or food place.
“[We go to] Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Taco Bell or Chick-Fil-A,” senior Tessa Vasquez said. “They’re cheap and yummy.”
Sometimes friends will go to activity-specific locations, like the cinema or a pottery studio.
“I actually went to a pottery place pretty recently and it was very enjoyable,” senior Hasini Darla said. “I liked how it was relaxing but still fun. I think it’s a great place to go since you also get to leave with the pottery piece as a memory.”
