Some people are preparing for a trip this coming spring break. They are taking the opportunity for relaxation, to get away from school or to enjoy nature.
“I’m headed to either Destin or Panama Beach,” senior Chase Meyers said. “I am super excited to go to the beach, even though we can’t get in the water. I’m going to be heading down there with just the family. I am also excited because I love lobster.”
Some people go on trips to different places to learn about different cultures and history.
“I’m going down to Texas around Dallas and down to San Antonio, too,” junior Stephen Ihouma said. “I’ll be going to a bunch of museums and historical places such as the Alamo, where a lot of people died fighting [for what they believe]. Unfortunately, I am only there for five days, but it should be a lot of fun.”
Students often head to warmer locations to avoid the cold. They also go for theme parks and food.
“I’m going to California,” senior Travis Corbett said. “I am very excited to go to Disney. I also love the seafood there, some cod, some salmon. It’ll just be me and the family heading down there. I know we are all super excited for the park.”
