Matthew Pecararo
Teaching children at Sister School and students in Newspaper as Editor-In-Chief (EIC), senior Matthew Pecararo has made his senior year far from easy. However, the leadership he has taken on has not limited his ability to have fun. Along with three other seniors, Pecararo helps to make the school’s news publications the best it can be.
“It is the best being an EIC with Matt,” senior Myia McAllister said. “He’s such a fun guy to work with and keeps the class laughing and having fun. I love the energy he brings to class, and I’m so lucky to have gotten to know him this year.”
Through Pecararo’s leadership in Sister School and his position as EIC, Matthew is always looking out for others. He tries to include everyone in his programs and make sure everyone is having a good time.
“Matt takes leadership in Sister School by being in charge of making the lesson plans, communicating with the school and teachers [and] planning dates when we visit,” sophomore Katie Fairchild said. “He makes sure all the members are prepared and on top of everything.”
Pecararo is a strong leader. He takes his positions very seriously, but he never lets the stress get in the way of cheering people up.
“When we are all stressing out about a deadline, he is always there to reassure us and have a good time,” McAllister said.
