Fans of live music, food trucks, sports or hanging out with family and friends have a new venue in Cottleville, Mo. Frankie Martin’s Garden provides a family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere. The venue has a large area for children and dogs to run around while those who are older can enjoy the pickleball and volleyball courts and the live music that typically starts at 7 p.m., according to frankiemartinsgarden.com.

The majority of Frankie Martin’s Garden is a spacious area of turf. Many fireplaces are scattered throughout, turning on when it begins to get dark and cold. Lawn chairs surround the fireplaces, but guests are welcome to bring extra chairs if in big groups. Further toward the stage, the turf is empty, leaving room for patrons to sit or stand and watch the performers, according to stlmag.com.

The garden is well-known for its food truck variety. There are usually three to five different food trucks for lunch and dinner. In the past, their trucks have featured barbecue, Chinese and Mediterranean foods, as well as a dessert truck. Frankie Martin’s Garden posts the weekly truck schedule on their Facebook, according to frankiemartinsgarden.com.

“I like all the different kinds of food trucks that they have, like the dessert truck,” senior Madelyn McHugh said.

The weekly special events of the garden are also located on Facebook or the official website. The majority of events include bands and singers that the garden showcases, but occasionally hosts interactive yoga classes and trivia nights, according to frankiemartinsgarden.com.
