The choir’s singers are outside practicing hard for the concert.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a lot away from the fine arts department. All concerts have been canceled or rescheduled for the second semester. However, Principal Neil Berry has approved a Fine Arts Night on Oct. 23.

“We’ve been working really hard to learn all of our music [as] normally we would have until mid-November before our first performance,” senior Abby Doria said.

As it is, the fine arts programs were not supposed to have an in-person performance this semester, as all performances were pushed to second semester, canceled or turned to virtual.

“I’m just excited to be a part of J&M for the first time and get to perform with all of them,” sophomore Spencer Springmann said.
