Julia Crenshaw – Softball
To be the best, you must first know you have the ability to be the best. As a freshman starting on varsity, that is freshman Julia Crenshaw’s mindset. Crenshaw understands what she can do and does it to the best of her ability. Softball is a complex sport and Crenshaw knows how to learn, adapt, and understand what is going on around her in the game. She has continuously put effort in throughout her life to get where she is today and understands the kind of player she can be.
“[Crenshaw] works hard and knows what she wants. She is good at listening and learning when needed,” teammate Ady Mines said.
Aside from understanding the game, Crenshaw is a team-first player and knows what she needs to do to help the team and not only herself. Crenshaw plays outfield and third base, and with that she has a cannon for an arm and is one of the fastest players on the field. Crenshaw has earned her spot on the team, and will continue to work hard to keep it throughout her high school career.
