“I joined because I love getting the newspapers during lunch and reading all the articles. I wanted to get more connected to the school and thought that joining newspaper would be a great way to get involved.”
Getting involved at school is the reason junior Myia McAllister joined newspaper. She wants to make new friends, gain connections and express her opinions. Writing about important topics is her goal. Her life dream is to work at a blogging company and live in New York City.
