The Gift of Giving
West High’s Annual Toy Drive

The annual 12 days of giving have returned for this holiday season. In the past, the NHS group and other clubs organized their own drive but this year eight groups have come together to collect donations for non-profit organizations. Among the organized groups is Lady Jags Swim and Dive, Winter Guard, Key Club, SADD/Trend, FBLA, Eco Club and FCCLA. Donations will be collected until Dec. 14th.

Brand new gifts may be dropped off via curbside drop off Dec. 14th from 10 a.m. to noon at West High School.

The non-profits are asking for items such as pet supplies, coats and jackets, used shoes, new or gently used hats, personal hygiene items, new or used books and new or used stuffed animals. The class who collects the most donations will earn the opportunity to choose the music that gets played in the hallway during finals exam week.

The donations will be donated to the following organizations: Fort Zumwalt School District’s own students, Little Wishes Foster and Adoption Coalition, Love a Golden Rescue, Love Inc., and Soles 4 Souls. This is the perfect chance to give back to those in need, it could make someone happier than one could imagine.
