The seniors took home the W on homecoming week, with a final score of 40 to 29. The stands were full with fans, students and parents as they watched the Class of 2017 beat the juniors. The cheerleaders from both teams were full of energy as they excited the crowd and players. This tradition is one that each class will remember as a highlight of their high school career.

“I noticed growth [in the players] because they were dropping passes and didn’t know everything [at the first practice],” senior and Powderpuff coach Tyler Eckan said. “But, at the game they were able to play hard and competitively.”

“During and after [the halftime performance] I felt like a champion- I was on top of the world,” senior and Powderpuff cheerleader Trevor Timmerman said. “Doing the splits in front of a lot of people [was the most memorable part].”
